Disney Vacation Club Halts Sales of Polynesian Points

With the opening of a new tower at the Polynesian Village Resort, DVC has stopped sales of points for the resort. What does this mean for the property? Keep swiping to find out!

First off: keep in mind that this isn't the first time DVC has halted sales for a resort. The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort had a similar situation in 2021, so what happened there?

Like the Polynesian, Grand Floridian was expanding, and the option to purchase points returned in early 2022. So, what does this mean for the Polynesian?

While there's no guarantee that the timing will be the same, it's possible that history will repeat and members will be able to buy points at the Polynesian again once the tower is fully built.
