The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, a new Disney Vacation Club Resort
Did you know that the Villas at Disneyland Hotel is the 16th Disney Vacation Club property and the second one located at Disneyland Resort? This new resort has 344 rooms. It’s situated near Downtown Disney and offers luxurious accommodations for families and guests.
As expected from a DVC resort, the Villas have spacious and well-appointed rooms with all kinds of amenities to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Accommodations range from Deluxe Studios to Three-Bedroom Grand Villas.
The Disneyland Hotel has a new Palette Pool that is great for families and features multicolored pergolas, cabanas, and a poolside bar. There are also other pools available and amenities like whirlpool spas and a gym. In addition, guests can enjoy seasonal events and activities throughout the year.
The Villas at Disneyland Hotel is expected to open in the fall and Disney is currently selling points.
Resale Restrictions
The original 14 DVC resorts are the only resorts in which resale owners can exchange and use their points. The Riviera and the Villas at Disneyland Hotel are excluded from this list. Resale owners can only use their points at Disney’s Riviera Resort if they purchase a contract there. The same goes for resale owners who purchase a contract at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel.
These restrictions affect resale owners unless you own a minimum of 150 points directly from Disney. This is why a lot of savvy owners add DVC points to their current membership on the DVC secondary market. This way they don’t have restrictions and can save money.

August 2023 Average DVC Resale Price By Contract Size
To get an idea of how much you could pay for a DVC resale, it’s worth considering the size of the contract. You might find that smaller contracts have a higher cost per point than larger ones and vice versus. DVC Resale Prices Are Always Changing!
As shown in the chart above, resale prices vary among resorts. Since last month, certain resorts have seen their prices increase. Other resorts had prices decrease.
When you’re looking into buying or selling DVC points, it’s important to keep in mind that the resale price per point isn’t just based on the number of points in the contract. There are a few different factors that come into play, like where the resort is located, what the DVC Use Year is, as well as how many points are available. For example, a contract with fewer points at a really popular resort might actually cost more than a bigger contract at a less sought-after resort. So, it’s a good idea to consider all of these things when you’re figuring out what price you should expect.

Your DVC contract’s final selling price can be impacted by various factors, such as bank points, pending reservations, and annual points.
