What’s Coming Up at Disney
Probably the biggest piece of exciting news is that the long-awaited Tiana’s Bayou Adventure finally has a release date, and it’s very soon! This newest addition to the Magic Kingdom park is a complete revamp of the classic Splash Mountain ride and will open on June 28. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure takes riders on a trip down the Louisiana Bayou in search of musicians for a celebration. EPCOT is also set for some new additions of its own. On June 10, the park is set to open CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza. These two spaces will be an important part of EPCOT’s future festivals, like its Food and Wine Festival starting in August.
While Disney World is packed with excitement, Disneyland hasn’t been left out of the fun! The Fantasmic Show recently returned to Disneyland with a new, thrilling battle between Mickey and Maleficent. Pixarfest will also be continuing at Disneyland with plenty of Pixar themed decor and food. Of course, the true highlight of the event is the parades. “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” is a daytime parade held at California Adventure, while “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” will return to Disneyland in the evenings with new scenes.
May 2024 Average DVC Resale Price per Point by Contract Size
Looking at the average DVC price per point for May 2024, there’s a major factor you’ll want to consider: contract size. These differences in size can cause the cost of these DVC contracts to vary significantly. You’ll also want to remember that these changes affect the price per point for each resort differently. So, while there are cases where larger contracts are more expensive per point than smaller contracts, there are other cases where it’s the other way around. If there’s one thing this chart makes clear, it’s that the average DVC resale price per point is constantly changing. Barring a few exceptions, this month most resorts either trended downward or kept almost the same price per point. Additionally, when you compare these prices, it becomes clear that predicting how these prices will change can be pretty tricky.
Many factors affect the average DVC resale price per point. Pending reservations, point availability, and the number of points you receive each year all play a part in determining that average price per point. You’ll want to consider all of these factors if you’re planning to sell your DVC points.
There’s one last piece of the puzzle that can affect these prices: resort popularity. This factor is pretty straightforward: more popular DVC resorts are typically pricier than those with fewer guests. As a result, the resorts with fewer visitors are a great choice if you’d like to spend a bit less money. You’ll still get to enjoy stellar amenities and spacious accommodations, meaning you’ll have a great stay no matter where you go!
