There is a private beach just below the ocean front unit we get every year and we can see the full moon over the water at night. Simply breathtaking! There is a lovely walking/biking path just below the unit that lets you walk along the shore for a couple of miles if you are looking for convenient exercise options to swimming if surf is high. It is very close to the Wailua River that has boats to ride or canoes to rent to go up to the world famous Fern Grotto and has a restored ancient Hawaiian Village along it its shores. The resort itself has a pool, a welcome breakfast every week for new arrivals when they give away free tours to folks, and a concierge service that will set up tours for you, arrange for your transportation to Luaus, and various popular destinations. The resort offers a shuffle board area, grills with white water ocean the staff is friendly, helpful.
