Per the owner:
This property was part of the 1,000 acre pineapple plantation that
Rockefeller purchased in the 1950's and developed into the famous Dorado
Beach Resort. When I first saw the property it was a total Hyatt property
with 2 hotels and 4 Golf courses. I t was the beauty of the property that
attracted me.
Hacienda del Mar is very private now with a very large crescent beach
with each room with a direct ocean view. T he property next to Hacienda
is being developed into a JW Marriott. The jewel of this property is the
Dorado Beach resort which is now a 6 star Ritz Carlton. Their is access
to the beach, restaurants and the spa at the Ritz and the golf courses. I
have travelled many places in the world but this is one of the most
beautiful places in the world. Also the town of Dorado is very safe and a
short 35 min drive to San Juan.
Even though this is a deeded week, it is very easy to reserve another
week at the resort or other Hyatt residence clubs with some advance
planning.
