If what you love about a ski vacation is SKIING, then you’ll love
Snowbird. Some mountains are resorts, loads of bars, restaurants,
traffic, and lift lines. Snowbird is all about the mountain and week 14,
in early April, is spring skiing-high altitude style-meaning loads of
snow and both powder days and sunny days. Snowbird averages more than
500” of snow each year, coming in 3rd in the US behind Alyeska and Mt.
Baker. No better deal for a full week’s lodging at $1,054 (the annual
maintenance fee). For a change of pace, ski at Solitude or Brighton (~45
min drive), Park City or Deer Valley (<1 hour), and Alta is right there
(separate lift ticket). We’ve owned an Iron Blosam timeshare for more
than 20 years, time to make room for younger skiers!
