Floating weeks: 1-50 (Platinum Season)Next use: 2024Maintenance fees 2024: $3,516148,100 Star Option points transfer to new owner. Purchased my first Maui Ocean View timeshare in 2011. Happy to answer any questions about the resort and our many family vacations.A lock off unit has the flexibility to be reserved as a 2 bedroom for one week or for 2 weeks with one week as a studio villa and another week as a 1 bedroom suite. This 2 bedroom Ocean View villa is currently reserved for 3/14 - 3/21/25 for a 2 bedroom high demand Ocean View Villa (during Spring break and Whale watching season). This is a MANDATORY property which means the Star Option points transfer with a secondary market purchase which may not be the case at most Westin properties, including Nanea. Westin/Marriott has the right of first refusal & they will typically purchase the lower priced properties for their own resale inventory. A long time broker in Maui that I know stated that Marriott purchased one of his sales for $14,500 and let another go through to the buyer this year at $15,000. Please be aware that Marriott does not disclose their purchase pricing, this was learned through his actual contract offers that must first be presented to Marriott for their First Right of Refusal (to purchase for themselves)! This gives Marriott the ability to harvest more inventory, as needed, that they can then resell through their program at a price ~4.5 times higher than what they purchase it for. If they buy up to $14.5k and then sell for ~$65k, it is a substantial profit for them.Closing costs and transfer fees are to be paid by the buyer.Buyer to pay maintenance fees for first year of usage.I am the property owner and am happy to answer any questions that you may have. We will be using a reputable title transfer company to handle the escrow and transfer the ownership via a deed.
