Keeping an eye out for trends and prices is important if you're thinking about selling or buying DVC points from the resale market.
Small contracts often have a higher cost per point than larger contracts!
In September 2022, a contract with less than 100 points at Bay Lake Tower was $165.00/point. A contract with over 200 points at the same resort was $145.00/point.
In August 2022, the average price per point for a Grand Floridian resale contract was $172.38. In September, it was $163.39 per point. That's a decrease of 5.22%!
The resale prices of almost every resort have increased from their average per-point prices in 2021, regardless of the month-to-month changes. September 2022’s average DVC resale price per point was $136.23, while September 2021’s average was $130.73.
Fidelity helps buyers get DVC contracts for a fraction of the price. For example, in September 2022, Animal Kingdom resale contracts were an average of $70.57/point cheaper than directly from Disney.
Currently, Halloween decor, treats, and activities have taken over Disneyland and Walt Disney World. In other holiday news, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is coming back for 2022.
